my brother!! *
I’m gonna really thump my little brother one day! He is soooooooooooooooo dorksville! Yesterday he just pushed it too far.
I was readin my fave mag, Girl Talk, and I just got up for a mo to get a drink and when I came back it was totally gone! I thought Mum must have tidied it , like she always does. But when I asked her, she hadn’t seen it.
Then I knew, it was “The chimp”, my totally gross little bro.
I ran upstairs and looked in his room, but he wasn’t there. Then I heard a buzzy kinda noise coming from Mum and Dads room and I found him with Dad’s shredder thing, he was munching up my brand new Girl Talk into tiny strips of coloured paper. OMG, I nearly died! I started to scream at him and he yelled back at me, then Dad came running into the room.
He was sooooooooo splodie and when he saw The Chimp with his shredder his face went kinda tomato colour. My bro and I know that it’s totally not allowed to touch the shredder coz it’s sharp.
That’s when Dad lost it, big time. The Chimp and I both got sent to our rooms, even though I hadn’t done anything! Dad always blames me too, when my sningey little bro does something wrong.
After a few minutes Dad came to talk to me and said that he was sorry for shouting and sorry that The Chimp had shredded my Girl Talk. Then he told me what had really happened…………
The Chimp was trying to recycle coz he’d heard me going on about it. He thought it would be a groovy idea to shred up the mag to make coloured bedding for Jimmy’s chickens to sleep on.
I couldn’t be mad anymore, cos the Bro was only trying to do what I’d told him to, but why did he have to sneak off with my mag? Don’t forget to ask before you do anything like that, coz it’s totally mean to take other people’s things and I’m saying DOWN WITH MEAN!
by the way, Hootsie, tootsie!!!!!! I just wanted to say ” thank you” to all you peeps out there who have sent me totally brilliant messages about my NO2CO2 campaign. There are loads of you “Queens of green”, doin awesome things to help make this world better and I’m lovin it!
Me and my knot have decided to get together and make a “Green team”. We had a sleepover at the weekend and decided what we could do. So this is our top ten list ……..
1. Walk more and only use cars, buses and stuff if it’s totally needed.
2. Recycle everything that we can and find more funky ideas for making stuff.
3. Don’t waste water. Take shorter showers and don’t leave the taps running when we clean our teeth.
4. Fold up our clothes every night if they are not really dirty. Then we can wear them again and save having to wash them so much.
5. Check out the charity shops for clothes and create some funky looks of our own.
6. Turn our rents green. Keep a check on our Mums and Dads to make sure that they are doin everthing they can to help our world.
7. Don’t waste paper. We will always use both sides of a page and take care of our school text books, so they last longer and can be handed on to other girls.
8. Drink tap water not bottled water. Big lorries full of plastic bottles wizzin all over the place are sooooooooooo bad for the envirnment.
9. Switch things off when you’re not usin them. Leaving a light on totally wastes electricity.
10. The “Green Team” will do everthing we can to protect our world. Lots of little things will make a BIG diffrence.
