canada trip! Turning my parents green. *
hi people! did not post since 5 to 6 days. sorry. anyways too busy wid holidays. holidays are fun but still ok ok and I donno why. we went to niagra falls acctually. It rocks, and we also went to this place where they put your hand in some liquid wax and the shape of your hand comes lol.
It's ubercool! anyways, It was over all good. huh. I am tired and we already had a long drive from ontario to michigan. so basically in michigan now. my head is paining and Its like 12:00 am in the MIDNIGHT I guess.
anyways so,I’ve been doing a lot more thinking about all this global warming stuff and I still don’t think that my family is doing enough. You really don’t have to do too much to make a really big difference.
I talked to Mum and Dad about it weeks ago, but as far as I can see they haven’t really changed anything, so I’m gonna have to take control in our house. I’m going to check out things like what kind of lightbulbs we use, have we got any drippy taps and how often does Dad use the car when he doesn’t really have to! He’s sooooo lazy, he doesn’t seem to walk anywhere. Then I’m going to get Mum and Dad to calculate their carbon footprints on the internet and I think they’ll be totally shocked. Maybe then they will listen to me and start being responsible.
It’s real easy to check out your carbon footprint, but you’ll probably have to ask your Rents for some info before you start. There are loads of websites that calculate it for you, but I’ve added a link to this to make it easy-peasey.
Some losers think that this is just soooooo boring, but it reeally matters. This world is such a groovy place, but grown- up’s are just making one great big mess of it.
Come on lets show them we know better. There are sooooooo many ways we can help, so keep visiting me here on somyworld, lets all say “NO2CO2″ and do this together. I’ve got loads of ideas, but but I bet you have too. Lets share our ideas and really make things happen!
